NCAA Men's Basketball Series Records Notes

  These pages only include all games for teams in the following confernces in the 2023-24 season:
    - ACC / Big 12 / Big East / Big Ten / PAC-12 / SEC            
    - Mountain West: added 12/09/2023
    - Atlantic 10:   added 01/30/2024
  

  This is the biggest project I've undertaken.  I initially wanted to collect games from all D1 
  schools before putting the pages in production.  But, I may never actually finish doing that.
  So, I decided to start with these conferences and hope/plan to add more as time permits.
  
  I've combed through over the school's media guides to collect game scores.  I'm sure there are
  mistakes (in my work, as well as the media guides).  If you notice something, let me know (matt@mcubed.net)
  and I'll try to confirm/correct.

  Again, I hope/plan to add more teams/conferences in the future.  But, understand that there is significant 
  work/time involved.


  While going through media guides, discrepancies have been found.  

  I consider these minor discrepancies:
  1. Different game scores.  I tended to simply pick the closer game score and not make a note of the 
     difference on these pages at this point.  Maybe I'll get back to make notes about them one day.


  2. Different dates.  Again, I picked one of the dates without making a note of the difference.  Maybe
     I'll get back to make notes about them one day.


  3. Overtime games.  Sometimes one media guide will have a games as an OT game, but not the other.
     In these cases, I marked the game as an OT game.


  4. Different locations.  Again, maybe one day I'll get a chance to look into these.  Here is an example 
     of how these games are noted:
     


  Bigger discrepancies:
  1. Different winners.  I've found 17 such discrepancies.  I will try to research these as time
     permits.  Until then, I have included both game scores and added a note like this on them:

  2. Games found in only one team's media guide.  I've been able to resolve several such discrepancies.
     In some cases, the opponent listed is incorrect (ex. Utah instead of Utah State).  In some cases, 
     there's evidence that the game is simply missing from one school's media guide.

     The remaining such discrepancies have a note like this included on them:

  3. There is another flavor of a game being found in only one team's media guide.  In this case,
     the media guide with the game seems to contradict itself by having the game included in the 
     yearly schedule, but not in  the list of all games against that opponent.  The game is also not
     seen in the opponent's  media guide.  These discrepancies are noted like this:
